La Catrina Cartoon Prize

Since it first edition in 2002, the Encuentro Internacional de Caricatura e Historieta has distinguished important personalities from cartoon world. La Catrina, bronze sculpture which reproduces a drawing by Sergio Aragonés (free version of the famous Catrina originally created by José Guadalupe Posada) is the recognition which is given to the laureate.
