  PRESS ROOM   PRESS CONFERENCE ROOM

Press Conference Room

The Conference Room located in the Press Room of the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) is a meeting point for authors, publishing houses and institutions. It holds information of journalistic relevance for the 1,600-plus communicators that visit FIL every year, representing 466 national and international media.

During the nine days of the Fair, from 10 am to 8 pm, press conferences of no longer than 50 minutes are held in a 40-seat auditorium located in the FIL Press Room.

Reservation of the space gives you access to:

  • Use of the Press Conference Room, with capacity of up to 40 people
  • Main Table, seating up to 6 speakers.
  • ID of each of the previously registered speakers.
  • Sound system.
  • Two assistants to give away handouts and attention to speakers.

The publishing house or the institution responsible should produce all handouts given during the conference. If FIL Press Room staff are to distribute the materials, these should be delivered to the Press Room at least one hour before the scheduled conference.

Submitting this form does not guarantee space reservation. FIL Guadalajara’s General Press Coordination must confirm reservation via e-mail. Cancellation of press conferences must be done at least 24-hours in advance.

The press conferences reservation service at FIL's Press Room is no longer available.
