The Fernando Benítez National Cultural Journalism Award is aimed to promote quality journalism in Mexico and an effort to maintain the revealing and integrating view of journalist Fernando Benítez on arts and daily life. Every year the contest awards two categories of reporting: written and photographic. Winners receive a prize of 50,000 pesos
