The Rights Center offers you the opportunity to negotiate with the most promising publishing market, considered as the second biggest in the world, with sales in excess of 6 billions dollars.
You will also have the chance to meet the most important authors in Iberoamerica and to discover the youngest and most promising writers of the region.
According to UNESCO, Spanish is the main language for translations; almost 20% of the Spanish-language titles are translations.
In 2007 the Rights Center had 67 companies from 19 different countries, buying and selling rights. This represents a growth of 39% in the number of participants and 36% in the number of countries represented compared to the year before.

- Access to the Rights Center is restricted to registered participants and to those individuals with proof of appointments
- Work tables are limited to 3 individuals
- You may not use chairs or furniture not previously rented nor may you use public areas for publicizing your firm or products
- You may not bring food into the Rights Center
- FIL reserves the right to print and translate a Rights Catalogue
