Communicating Science: a shared commitment

The construction of science is a long-term endeavor that enables us to question and understand our surroundings. It invites us to contemplate various issues and find possible answers to countless inquiries. Access to knowledge is essential for fostering critical and transformative capacities within our societies, driving the democratization of science: a right and a common good. University presses, as part of academic communities, serve as a communication window and a bridge for the transfer and connection of knowledge through our work in selecting, publishing, and disseminating content. Science belongs to everyone and should serve the construction of a true knowledge society. From the perspective of university publishing, we invite you to reflect on how we can approach science with an Ibero-American vision and share it with the world. What joint projects can we create? How can we ensure investment in scientific development? What policies can protect it, and how can we reach a broader audience of readers?
