Mónica Sánchez is an expert in strategic communication and senior management with more than 15 years of professional experience. Throughout her career, she has led projects for prominent companies such as GBM, Privalia México, Merk-Serono and Rappi. Between 2019 and 2020, she was a contributor to the BIG BANG RADIO program on Reactor 105.7 FM, where she specialized in technology and gadgets. Since 2021, she has held the position of Country Manager at Amabook México, one of Urano World's business units.

Mariela Romero Zúñiga

Book lover. She has a bachelor's degree in Spanish Philology and a master's degree in Latin American Literature from the University of Costa Rica. Since 2010, she has worked as a technical editor at the Editorial Tecnológica de Costa Rica, part of the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. There, she has edited more than 200 books related to science and technology. Her work includes coordinating the editorial process from start to finish; in addition, she is dedicated to the philological review of documents and the optimization of final artwork, to ensure precision and quality in the presentation of the works.
She is also a linguistic advisor and has vast experience in the orthotypographic analysis of documents. Since 2021, she has been a professor at the University of Costa Rica, where she shares her passion for literature.

She is a graphic designer and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Graphic Communication and Marketing from the University of Science and Art. She has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica. In addition, she has taken courses in colorimetry, neuromarketing, photography, Power BI for data analysis, creativity and innovation, and digital marketing fundamentals.
She has worked in different printing companies and advertising agencies, where she has performed functions of final art, graphic design, design for networks, data analysis in social networks. Since 2022, she has been a designer at the Technological Publishing House of Costa Rica, where she is in charge of creating books, covers, and all kinds of creative material for the works and their respective distribution on social networks and promotional events.

Since October 2004, he has held the position of General Manager at Marcombo, Ediciones Técnicas, where he has been responsible for the publication and marketing of a wide catalogue of technical books in areas such as computer science, training cycles, professional certificates, engineering, economics, mathematics, among others.

In addition, he serves as Executive Director at Editorial Sentir, a position he has held since February 2018, where he has contributed to the development of content aimed at emotional and social well-being. He also works as a professor of Accounting and Finance at UNED, training students in the publishing and book sector since March 2021.

Jeroni has been a partner of the Librería Hispano Americana, specialized in technical, scientific and training books, for more than two decades. Previously, he was a professor at the University of Barcelona, ​​providing training in accounting, finance and business plan development for bookstores between 2013 and 2021. In addition, he has provided specialized training to booksellers at the Gremio de Libreros de Madrid.

He began his professional career in the entertainment business as a Product Manager at HBO Brazil and has been part of the book market for more than twenty-five years, where he served as editorial and marketing director. He was also a business planning consultant for different publishing houses in the region and managing partner of PublishNews for more than six years, with a successful management that led this company to a greater dissemination of its content. In 2013, he took on the challenge of representing the Frankfurter Buchmesse — Frankfurt Book Fair — in South America, and shortly afterward he started the MVB Brazil project, which he has also directed for nine years.

Arantxa Mellado Bataller

Arantxa is an analyst and consultant in the publishing sector. She has more than 20 years of experience in the book industry, both in the production of printed books and in the management of digital business models. She is the founder of Ediciona.com, EntreLectores, The Spanish Digital Link and DataLibri, where she has advised publishers in Spain and Latin America. She is a professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid and at the University of Alcalá-Grupo Unidad Editorial. She currently manages LiberExpress, a leading book distribution company, under the Print on Demand (IBD-PTO) model that she co-founded.
