"La Catrina" Cartoon Prize


Since its first edition in 2002, the International Cartoon and Comics Conference has honored prominent figures from the worlds of cartooning and comics. La Catrina, a bronze sculpture based on an illustration by Sergio Aragonés (a free interpretation of the iconic Catrina originally created by José Guadalupe Posada), is the distinction awarded to each honoree.
