American Indigenous Literature Award
The American Indigenous Literature Award has the objective of enriching, preserving and disseminating the legacy and wealth of indigenous peoples through the different genres of literary art, as well as recognizing and disseminating the trajectory and works of indigenous authors. Endowed with 300 thousand Mexican pesos, the award will be presented within the framework of the Guadalajara FIL 2025.
José Emilio Pacheco City and Nature Award
The University of Guadalajara, through the project of the Museum of Environmental Sciences of the University Cultural Center, and with the support of the Guadalajara International Book Fair, announces the José Emilio Pacheco City and Nature Award. The award, endowed with ten thousand US dollars, will be open to all writers and storytellers in the Spanish language. They should address the issue of nature, urban sustainability, socio-ecological harmony and environmental care. This award is named in memory of the poet José Emilio Pacheco, whose work transcended by exploring the apparent duality between the city and nature.

SM Ibero-American Prize for Children's and Youth Literature
The SM Ibero-American Prize for Children's and Youth Literature was launched in 2005, the Ibero-American Year of Reading, with the purpose of promoting children's and youth literature throughout Ibero-America. The objective of this award is to recognize those authors who have developed their literary career in the field of children's and youth books. Endowed with 30 thousand dollars, it is delivered every year within the framework of the Guadalajara International Book Fair.

Iberoamérica Ilustra
In order to create a network that helps to disseminate the work of illustrators of books for children and young people in Ibero-America, SM Foundation and the Guadalajara FIL are calling for the 15th Ibero-American Illustrated Catalog. The selected works will be mounted as an exhibition within the framework of the Guadalajara International Book Fair.
