Extension of time for your staff and foresee their transportation.
Do close of sales at 23:00 pm at the latest, the precint will close at 23:30 hours.

Salón del Cómic + Novela Gráfica

Comics are currently booming and at the Guadalajara International Book Fair we want to give it the importance it deserves. We believe that in Salón del Cómic local and international talent can be developed, this not only motivates the sale to the general public, but also generates the business activity that is already done in other areas of FIL in topics such as children's book university, literature, etcetera.
The Comic Fair will open the last four days of the Fair, from December 1 to 4, and will have three types of participation:
Participation with stand at Salón del Cómic + Novela Gráfica:
Exhibition area with 40 stands (230 square meters). The project includes the exhibition and sale of local, national and international comics, as well as developing talent and exhibiting material from Mexico and Latin America.
The cost of each space of nine square meters will be ten thousand and seven hundred Mexican pesos for the exhibitors of 2019 who renew their participation before May 12 or twelve thousand five hundred pesos for any reservation made after May 12.
The space includes: panels, four shelves per screen, lighting, electrical outlet, two chairs, one table, carpet, identification sign and three badges.

Use of the Business Center.
Publication of your data in the exhibitors and professionals online catalog (deadline for receipt of information: August 19).
Publication of your titles in the Books Catalog (deadline September 23).
To request a space or renew your participation please review the participation rules and send the stand application form. If you participate for the first time FIL Guadalajara will confirm the availability of spaces and send a proposal in writing from June.
Exhibitors of Salón del Cómic + Novela Gráfica from 2019 that do not renew their participation before May 12 will lose the allocation of their space and this will be assigned to another company.

Activities program:
In addition, talks related to the world of comics will be offered, as well as comics releases from participating publishers in the exhibition area. All contents will be regulated by the FIL Organizing Committee and your proposals are welcome.
The program of talks and workshops will be published on our website in a special section of the Comic Fair.
Activities program – Salón del Cómic + Novela Gráfica del 2021 (2022 program, available from October)
Authors and artists Comics Factory (La Fábrica de Cómics):
The authors and artists attending FIL will be able to market or give away art and make a comic book signature. This space will be free and will be organized through a selection process and a regulation that will be sent to interested parties.
Authors and artists must fill out the application form and accept the general regulations of Salón del Cómic + Novela Gráfica.
A schedule of work sessions of the Salón del Cómic + Novela Gráfica will be published. Deadline: June 30 or space availability.
In addition to these three activities we will have the presence of media, which will cover everything related to this event.

In case the exhibitor decides to cancel the stand assigned by the Organizing Committee, or the Committee decides to cancel because there was a non-compliance by the exhibitor, FIL will act according to the cancellation schedule.

In the event that the exhibitor decides to cancel due to the pandemic, and not due to regulations of the Mexican authorities, it must respect the cancellation policies previously mentioned above.
In the event that FIL Guadalajara 2022 is canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic or other health risk, or by direct orders from the authorities, the Organizing Committee will reimburse 100% of the amount paid for the stand rental or any other paid or hired service directly through FIL Guadalajara. The reimbursement of the cost of the stand will be made within 90 business days following the cancellation of the event. The exhibitor may also decide to apply their payment to the 2023 edition, for which they must notify us before December 15, 2022.
