Echoes of FIL

Year after year, young students of the University of Guadalajara high schools have the opportunity to meet with writers who come to the FIL Guadalajara at their own campus. The purpose of these meetings is to promote the habit of reading among high school students, through informal and friendly dialogues with the authors of works that they can approach later, with the additional motivation that means meeting those who created them.

The authors who participate in FIL Echoes attend both the schools in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara and those that are distributed within the state of Jalisco. With the support of the teachers, a conscientious introduction to the work of the authors who will visit them takes place through daily work in the classrooms.
