One Thousand Young People with...
One Thousand Young People with… is a space that fosters encounters between new generations and the leading figures who visit the Guadalajara International Book Fair. Each year, the main session features the recipient of the FIL Literary Award, accompanied by a series of dialogues that make up one of the Fair’s most anticipated events.
Authors who have taken part in this program include José Saramago, Isabel Allende, José Emilio Pacheco, Rosa Montero, Carlos Fuentes, Irene Vallejo, Antonio Lobo Antunes, Laura Restrepo, Rubem Fonseca, Ángeles Mastretta, Fernando Savater, Ida Vitale, Carlos Monsiváis, Jostein Gaarder, Fernando Vallejo, and Alessandro Baricco, among other distinguished figures.
