Terms and conditions for the use of the rooms

• The applicant is obliged to comply with the provisions of the Board of Health at the time of submission.
• The established schedule by FIL Guadalajara must be respected in all book presentations; otherwise, the Fair will have the faculty to take the necessary measures to maintain continuity in the agenda of events of the day.
• If for any reason the book presentation begins after the stipulated time, the presenter should still finish at the scheduled time.
• FIL reserves the right to cancel the book presentation if the opening is delayed more than fifteen minutes after the established time.
• FIL reserves the right to modify the schedules for justifiable reasons due to event mechanics, in that case, new dates and times will be proposed to the applicant for them to select the one they consider appropriate.
• The furniture consists of chairs and presidium for until five people; a soundboard, a stereo and a table for book display, which can be used only during the time of the book presentation.
• If audiovisual and/or translation equipment and interpreter were necessary for the book presentation, they will have to be provided and operated by the applicant.
• If streaming equipment is required, it must be hired and operated by the person responsible for the presentation.
• It is not allowed to offer coffee break or cocktail services in the presentation rooms.
• The presentation of musical bands is not allowed, nor is it possible to play music in the presentation rooms.
• It is not allowed to hold items from the columns or open load centers, or contact boxes; nor is it allowed to nail, screw, drill or glue anything on floors, walls, soffits, and columns.
• It is not allowed under any circumstances to cover the backforum in the hall.
• Invitations to the book presentations granted by publishers will not be exempt from paying the entrance ticket to Expo Guadalajara.
• If there is a change in the book title, author, presenter, or any other data, report immediately to the email: presentaciones@fil.com.mx. The organizing committee will evaluate the new information and notify you if it is approved, otherwise, the space will be canceled.
• The applicant is not allowed to sign books at the end of the presentation without prior consent of the organizing committee.
  The applicant will be responsible for any claim that might be presented in matters of Intellectual Property (Copyright and Industrial Property), in relation to the work displayed at the book presentation, and is obligated to relieve FIL Guadalajara and Universidad de Guadalajara of any responsibility.
• The FIL Guadalajara reserves the right to cancel the book presentation at any time when it considers that it is an apology of violence, inappropriate acts, and/or the violation of any legal disposition.
• The applicant is obliged to comply with any additional condition, rule, or regulation that the FIL Guadalajara considers pertinent to ensure the success of the event.
• For the interpretation, compliance, controversy, or any issue arising from this request, the parties agree to expressly submit to the jurisdiction and jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, renouncing from this moment on any other that may correspond to them by reason of present or future address.
• Acceptance of these conditions means that you have read and understood the participation regulations, the present provisions, and you accept them without any restrictions or conditions on your behalf.
