Over the years, children's books have matured into one of the main stays in the Spanish publishing sector, where they also enjoy the opportunity to be able to create in four different languages; namely and primarily, Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician.
Children's and young adult literature (CYAL) represents an increasing percentage of the books published, sold and promoted in the literary sector in Spain. Their quality and diversity offer a great opportunity for our children and young adults to have access to reading.
This conversation will take a look at the most important aspect that is affecting Spanish CYAL at this time in terms of styles, domestic and international sales, new authors, digital literature, promotion... A pleasant conversation between publishers, booksellers and authors.
