Rodrigo Cuevas
Rodrigo Cuevas
Nominated for four candidatures for the 2024Music Awards, including Best Tour, Rodrigo Cuevas (Oviedo, 1985) is the brand new winner of the National Prize for Current Music of 2023 presented by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, and of the 2022 Arcoíris (Rainbow) Prize from the Ministry of Equality, the Critical Eye Prize of RNE 2021 for Modern Music, 2020 MIN Award for Breakthrough Artist and Best Fusion and Music Album in the World, 2020 Camaretá Award for Best Song for his composition and hymn "Rambalín ."
Rodrigo Cuevas is a phenomenon of the performing arts as well as of communication in its broadest sense, a total artist in the process of constant sustainable growth. In recent years, Rodrigo Cuevas has matured in a very significant way as an artist and as a person, with a tour like "Trópico de Covadonga" that has allowed him to tour countless cities in Europe, almost 20 performances in France, and also visit America and the Middle East, having sold out most of the gigs, many of them spectacular, such as those at the Grec in Barcelona or the Price Circus in Madrid, to name just two.
"La Romería" is nourished by the songs that make up the "Manual de Romería", although his repertoire includes some great tunes from his previous work, such as "Como arboleda bien plantada" (Like a well-planted grove) or "Rambalín", an authentic anthem that does poetic justice to LGTBIQ where real justice was absent.
"La Romería" is fueled by humor, social criticism, irony, intelligent condemnation and his trademark sensuality, by the naturalized use of Asturian and Spanish as vehicular languages and seasoned with an elegant and contemporary staging that breaks with the preceding imagery both on the stage and in the costumes.
We therefore leave with "La Romería", a space for celebration and communion, a place to feel free of prejudice, to feel sovereign and loving, libertine and good in the broadest sense of the word good. A show that is extroverted, hot, ambitious, happy, danceable and even epic.

Ruper Ordorika
Ruper Ordorika
Ruper Ordorika presents his work: "Amour eta toujours." A very special album that he recorded in a Cuban key with experienced musicians from different backgrounds, both the lyrics and the sound lead us to unknown territory in Ruper's career, but at the same time faithful to his essence.
This album by Ruper Ordorika comes to us by surprise, with unusual songs and atmospheres in one of the most recognized voices in Basque music. Based on his experiences on the Island of Cuba, the album is titled " Amour eta toujours."
Ruper Ordorika's relationship with Havana and the Cuban world has not fallen on deaf ears. Their project makes it clear; they are songs that are in tune with the
Afro-Cuban musical key and inspired by that world.
For its presentation, Ruper will have his band on stage: Arkaitz Miner (guitar, violin and mandolin), Lutxo Neira (double bass), Hasier Oleaga (drums), and also Eduardo Lazaga (percussion) and Nando de La Casa (percussion and keyboards).
Ruper Ordorika is not a musician to be defined with two words... He is an indisputable reference for his songs in the Basque language. In his compositions, he has always struck an equal balance between beauty and emotional depth, which can only be achieved through an incessant search for sounds and texts. The result: songs with timeless personality.

Sés
SES is a singer-songwriter with a long career who is an icon in the current Galician scene. Already a classic on the music scene, her prolific work continues to have full presence after 13 years of activity and 8 albums, thanks to her exceptional artistic ability, charisma and strength on stage.
The eclectic aesthetic that characterizes her, which combines her own traditional influences with the multiple and diverse styles that have nourished it (the author's own songs, Latin American folklore, rock & roll...) is subordinated to the literary expressiveness of the songs. Her lyrics codify both vital aspects of the artist and reflections of a social and political nature.
The philosophical charge of her writing is nothing short of a reflection of a restless personality and brilliant mind that acts as a chronicler of her context without shying away from highlighting its most unfair side. If silence prevails, with her powerful voice she destabilizes conformism and generalized indolence, something as necessary as it is scarce, which her audience demands and endorses with their boisterous support and loyalty.
Authenticity and versatility in its purest form, her very personal sound and strong presence make it impossible for the listener to remain indifferent.

Javier Ruibal-Saturno Cabaret
Javier Ruibal-Saturno Cabaret
Spain, 1950’s. With the arrival of a certain economic improvement thanks to the agreements between the Franco regime and the United States, a lukewarm and fearful scent of freedom arrives in Spain. The Saturno is a cabaret set in the Barcelona of the time, where the American Sixth Fleet disembarked alongside bourgeois and roughneck scoundrels, all of whom rubbed shoulders with visual and cinematographic artists who gave back the city the cosmopolitanism it had lost with the coup d'état, the civil war and the subsequent and very long reprisal.
And in this —seeming— space of Freedom, the show "Saturno Cabaret" takes place. Conceived, composed and written by Javier Ruibal, it is a portrait of the time through a gallery of characters treated with the humor and the tenderness essential to make this show a mirror in which to look at what we were and how we were able to emerge dignified, though not unscathed, from that time of opprobrium and repression.
This creative musician, different from all those of his culture and generation, boasts a 35-plus-year career. Composer, arranger, guitarist and singer. Self-taught and unorthodox. Frontier musician. He has been a professional musician since 1978, giving numerous concerts both in Spain and in other countries. Due to the particularity of his creation and its plural forms, he is invited to perform in different kinds of festivals such as jazz festivals, world music...
Bordering on flamenco, he always let himself be involved and fascinated by it, but taking the precaution of not passing himself off as what he always wanted to make clear he was not: a flamenco artist, not for lack of affection but out of absolute respect for it. However, a good part of the contemporary flamenco music is directly influenced by this artist who has been discovered as a true innovator of musical and poetic language.
He has composed for other artists such as Martirio, Ana Belén, Pasión Vega, Javier Krahe, and Mónica Molina, and he has participated in several recordings of Pablo Milanés, Joaquín Sabina, Celtas Cortos, Martirio, Carmen París, and others.
Javier Ruibal was awarded the National Prize of Current Music of the Ministry of Culture of Spain in 2017, has won the Goya Award for Best Original Song in 2020, was granted the Gold Medal of Andalusia and named Academician of Fine Arts of Cadiz in 2024.

Joe Crepúsculo
Joe Crepúsculo
Joe Crepúsculo welcomes us to a very particular way of singing stories, simple stories, where he can talk about gunpowder and heifers, impossible love, or even make us reflect on the excesses of young people who look to the future with a certain concern and melancholy.
His dance factory, possibly disconcerting at first, gradually becomes something incredibly addictive. It’s a style where powerful acoustic guitars are added to the rhythmic bases of the most fun techno-pop, advancing with total melodic naturalness. Joe Crepúsculo is a permanent revolution. His songs are pills for the soul and the feet, and it is in this sense that we enjoy the best Crepúsculo: the officiant who makes you a participant in the revelry.
In this special concert, as part of the Guadalajara Book Fair, Joe Crepúsculo will revisit his career accompanied by Brazilian percussionist Fabiano, and Aaron Rux from the U.S.A. on backing vocals and programming, his usual band.
But there will be special surprises: the presence of Tomasito from Jerez with flamenco dance, hand clapping, and backing vocals, and the Mexican Camilo Lara (Mexican Institute of Sound), an artist he has collaborated with on several occasions.
An impossible yet natural mix of sounds, nationalities, and celebration!
In 2023, Joe Crepúsculo celebrated the tenth anniversary of "Mi Fábrica de Baile" with an EP that includes various versions of the song made by friends and collaborators. Among the versions, there is a rock version by Camellos, a cumbia version by Instituto Mexicano del Sonido, a conga version with Aaron Rux, a "bulerías" version with Tomasito, a boogaloo version by Tito Ramírez, and Crepúsculo's first foray into Italian music with "La mia Industria di Ballo".
For 2024, he is already busy on what will be his 13th album, along with several EPs, singles, and side projects, in his 16-year career. In this prolific trajectory, he has developed a stylistic melting pot that has traveled through electropop, rock, trap, house, cumbia, gypsy rumba, samba, hard techno, country, post-punk, lo-fi EDM, urban music... but always with one goal on the horizon: dance and revelry.
Artists: Joe Crepúsculo feat, Tomasito, Camilo Lara

María José Llergo (Pozoblanco, 1994) is much more than the young singing promise in Spain. She is a solid reality, as strong as her innate ability to move and generate emotions thanks to an uncompromising artistic commitment. She is a figure capable of naturally connecting tradition and avant-garde in the most universal art of flamenco, making it accessible to all kinds of audiences. Her music is a perpetual renewal and evolution, like an adventurous soul seeking different challenges when exploring new, in this case, sonic territories.
A multidisciplinary artist – she sings, composes, and plays various instruments – in constant growth since her career took off in 2018 with "Niña de las dunas." She has been featured on COLORS, the audiovisual platform where artists like Dua Lipa and Jorja Smith have participated, making her music a global phenomenon. Her EP "Sanación" showcased her personal and innovative essence, intertwining flamenco with ambient electronic textures while paying homage to her origins.
In "Ultrabelleza," her latest album, overcoming and struggle underlie as the great emotional consequence radiating a splendid and joyful outlook. It is a vital rebirth filled with empowerment in a maturation process, as logical as it is admirable, where the artist from Pozoblanco does not hesitate to experiment and renew codes. A wide-ranging LP in form and content, brimming with the most heterogeneous influences that explode into a sophisticated sonic confetti where love and empathy are fundamental tools for advancement and progress. In this sense, the album unfolds as a reflection of the ideal world conceived by the artist, where everything is more equal and just, and as a safe haven for anyone who feels they do not fit into traditional social norms.

Califato ¾
Califato ¾
Califato ¾ emerged in 2018 from a meeting of several musicians from Seville and Málaga. As its name suggests, Califato ¾ places special emphasis on the ¾ rhythm, the basic ternary rhythm common to many forms of flamenco. The band champions popular and mixed Andalusian music through experimentation and the reinvention of flamenco, funk, breaks, footwork, hip hop, and dub, among others; and always without fear of mixing genres.
Califato ¾ presents "ÊCCLABÔ DE LIBERTÁ". Their most elaborate album to date, featuring fourteen new tracks filled with major collaborations (Lole Montoya, La Plazuela, Perrate, Carmen Xía…) that traverse different styles while maintaining their characteristic Andalusian signature as the LP's guiding thread. The album "ÊCCLABÔ DE LIBERTÁ" merges flamenco and avant-garde in a project where production and electronics enhance the vocals, in the same way that the guitar enhances the singer in flamenco. Throughout this sonic journey, we find influences reminiscent of Aphex Twin in tracks like "ER PATIO DE LÔ HIRGERÔ" which develops the breakbeat style fused with arpeggiators and synthesizers typical of acid techno; the embrace of drum n bass and hardtek in the production of "TÛ CADEN"; the blend of singing and hip hop in "DE LA FRONTERA"; or the fusion of tribal percussion and congas with electronic glitches, alongside Perrate’s visceral singing in "ÊL-LABONÊ".
Group: Califato ¾
Califato ¾

Miguel Poveda
Miguel Poveda
In the magical intersection of the arts, Miguel Poveda embarks on a new sonic journey alongside guitarist Jesús Guerrero to bring to life the evocative texts of Federico García Lorca's book "Poema del Cante Jondo."
Together, they have created one of the best flamenco albums of recent years, showcasing Miguel at his most authentic as a singer, masterfully interpreting the texts of his beloved and admired Federico.
With each measure, the album reveals a careful amalgamation of the rich heritage of "cante jondo" and the profound poetry of Federico.
Jesús Guerrero's guitar, hailing from San Fernando, adds a unique dimension, offering a very flamenco accompaniment that delights all fans of flamenco music.
"Poema del Cante Jondo" is not just a musical album but an intimate encounter with the roots of flamenco and the love each of the album's protagonists has put into it throughout their lives, through singing, guitar, percussion, palmas, and of course, poetry. This is accompanied by a tour with maestro Jesús Guerrero where they not only perform flamenco with mastery but also delve into the lyrical essence of Federico, bringing the poet's words to life through his unmistakable voice, returning to the purest and barest essence of the style that saw him born.
This fusion of Lorca's most earthy and flamenco poetry with the expressiveness of the singing and guitar of these two artists creates a unique experience where the emotional intensity of "cante jondo" intertwines with Lorca's deep reflections on the soul of flamenco. The tour thus becomes an intimate encounter where the most authentic flamenco is the protagonist, and when it is combined with the cultural richness of all its components, it is bound to delight everyone.
Artist: Miguel Poveda
Miguel Poveda
