Reading Promoters Conference

 

Through the Reading Promoters Conference, the Guadalajara International Book Fair seeks to strengthen the work of national and international institutions devoted to the training of reading mediators, with the aim of contributing to their professional development and recognizing their role as an essential link between books and readers.

The work of those who promote reading, and their central role in the formation of reading communities, has led the FIL to organize this conference, sponsored by the SM Foundation. It has become a space for reflection, exchange, and learning focused on reading mediation practices.

Each edition of the Reading Promoters Conference proposes a central theme that guides its activities and fosters dialogue around experiences and projects from the Spanish-speaking world dedicated to inclusion, equity, and access to reading for all.
