Poetry Program

In order to give greater prominence to poetry within the literary program and contribute to a wider dissemination of this genre, the Guadalajara International Book Fair created the Poetry Program in 2008.

In this space the audience has the opportunity to listen in the authors' own voice, a selection of their favorite poems. These are meetings that seek to connect the general public with the writers who gave rise to unforgettable texts and that allow us to know the exact nuance of each verse, those imperceptible turns of language that make the difference between simple words and phrases that come to life and take our breath away.
